Edith A. Farinola

Edith A. Farinola, a lifelong resident of East Boston, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017.  Edith, born on March 29, 1921, was a graduate of Burdette College. Edith was self-employed for many years, along with her sister, Lucille, at her Electrolysis Practice located in the Little Building, Tremont Street, Boston.

 Edith’s family includes nephews James De Gregorio, of Plymouth and Michael Farinola, of Hampton Falls, NH, her niece, Stephanie Burns, of Wilmington. Also Edith’s great nephews, Christopher Burns,  Douglas Burns, Nicholas Farinola and great nieces Gina De Gregorio, Jamie Burns , Anastasia Farinola and Katherine Farinola.

Edith was predeceased by her brother, Nicholas Farinola, of Peabody and her sister, Lucille De Gregorio, of Lynnfield.

Edith was well known to be a loving person as a sister, aunt, great aunt and her many friends.

Visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea Street,[ at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON, MA on Tuesday, October 3rd from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Concluding with a Prayer Service at 11 AM. A private internment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield.
