Jeremy Patrick Flynn

FLYNN, Jeremy Patrick,   Age 52 of Peabody (formerly of East Boston) died August 21 at his parents’ home in Medford, surrounded by his loved ones. Survived by his parents, Susan and Edward Flynn of Medford, brother Gabriel Grey of Albuquerque, sister Cara Forcellati and husband Joseph and nieces Nina and Sarah, all of Medford, girlfriend Michelle DeStefano of Peabody and her son Jake and family, Aunt Maureen Flynn of Tewksbury and her grandchildren Michael, Ian, Faith and Grace, and by many relatives in California, Ohio and Scotland. 

Funeral from the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Thursday morning, August 25, at 9.  Funeral Mass in St. Joseph-St. Lazarus Church, 87 Ashley St., East Boston at 10 o'clock.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting hours Wednesday, August 24, 4 - 8 PM

Born in Airthrey Castle, Scotland, Jeremy came to the United States at the age of 3 and lived in East Boston for many years before leaving for Los Angeles with two friends to follow his dream of being an actor. He appeared in many plays and independent movies, not to mention playing the bailiff on General Hospital. He stayed in Los Angeles for 15 years, before returning home to the East Coast to be closer to relatives and friends.  Never married, Jeremy met the love of his life, Michelle, when he returned home and spent two very happy years with her before succumbing to brain cancer. Judging by the outpouring of love and support, he was loved by many on both sides of the country. Jeremy, you will be sadly missed.
