Kenneth Edward Silanskas

KENNETH EDWARD SILANSKAS  "Kenny"  of Nashua, NH, passed suddenly on October 19, 2016.  Raised in East Boston, Kenny was the beloved husband of Tegan E. (Cole) Silanskas and adored son of Anthony and Anne (Kelley) Silanskas of Nashua, NH.

An outstanding actor and accomplished singer, Kenny performed across the country, touching everyone with his humor and unforgettable voice  The love and laughter that Kenny brought to this life via Joey and Maria's Comedy Italian Wedding and his involvement with Boston area start-up, Acquia, will be missed.  In the suddenness of his passing, there are no words to describe the devastating loss that his family and friends feel.

A published playwright and a pre-show finalist for American Idol, Kenny's presence lit up the stage and each of our hearts and it is there where his laughter will resound.  His imprint on those he mentored during his career and those he loved during his life will be forever cherished.

Kenny was a graduate of Boston Latin School and went on to attend Bridgewater State College, Bunker Hill Community College and Nashua Community College, where he graduated.  A born problem-solver, Kenny was a talented student recognized on the Honor Roll and Dean's List throughout his education.

Funeral from the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Thursday morning, October 27, at 8:30. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church,45 Brooks St. East Boston, at 9:30, where Kenny received his First Communion. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday, October 26,  4 - 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations to Boston Children's Theater, Box 171388, Boston, MA 02117 , where he got his start as a young actor playing the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz, would be appreciated.
