Gilda Marino Obituary

MARINO, Gilda C. (Nazzaro)  Of East Boston, unexpectedly, December 23, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late Joseph "Ronnie Mason" Marino.

Daughter of the late Assunta (Meoli) and Michele Nazzaro. Loving mother of Joseph Marino and his wife Marla of Saugus, Anthony Marino and his wife Norma of Medford.

Grandmother of Nick, Geena and Carly Marino and step-grandmother of Jason, Dante and Nicholas Mottola.

Sister of Rico Nazzaro of Stoneham and the late Annie Butare, Josephine "Bay" Costa, Olympio, Carlo, and Frankie Nazzaro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gilda also leaves behind Carmen Giannini, a dear young man who cared for treated his "Nonna" with utmost respect and love.  Forever he will be a part of our family.

Funeral Services in the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Friday, December 28 at 12 PM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the Funeral Service commencing at 10 AM.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

Gilda was born, raised and lived her entire life in East Boston, where she raised her sons and welcomed her grandchildren.

Indoor parking and entrance to funeral home available from 340 Bremen St.
