My uncle Joey was one of a kind. So nice, such a gentleman and a good uncle to myself and my siblings sisters Robin, Rhonda and lil brother Bobby Dickerson. Cousins are ur first friends and JoAnn was our first friend. Uncle Joey and Auntie Carol with JoAnn lived in New York and I told all my friends they were famous stars in the Big city!
ALL my friends...& teachers!
A few years ago I reconnected with uncle and JoAnn and it's been so awesome for all of us! JoAnn and I returned from an overnight stay in Hampton, NH and when we came in to their house My Uncle said with cheer "...Oh, my girls are home!" I felt so loved and honored to be considered his girl along w JoAnn...his favorite girl! But most of all he was incredibly old fasioned. Meaning he always stood up & kissed me hello AND good-by. A true Gem who I'll miss terribly. I'm grateful JoAnn has his tender, gentle way about her! Because I love the McGrath family since I met them. Which is a lifetime ago! I salute my Uncle Joey by having a Boston Cream Donut! He loved his sweets! Bless you Uncle Joey & say hello to my Auntie Carol& late sister Rhonda! I LOVE YOU DEARLY.💖
