Albert John Siracusa

SIRACUSA, Albert John  In East Boston passed at Massachusetts General Hospital on March 14, 2026.   Beloved father of Renee Vasconcellos.  Grandfather of Joshua Vaconcellos.

Son of the late Angelina "Ann" (Modica) Siracusa.  Brother of Louis "Luigi" Siracusa of East Boston and the late Joanne Rozzi and her surviving husband Dominic.  Uncle of Mark Siracusa, Christpher Rozzi, Maria Conti and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

 Memorial Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston will be on Monday morning, March 23rd, at 11:30 AM.  Visiting with the family beginning at 10:30 in the Church.  Relatives and friends are invited.

Albert was born and raised in East Boston and attended local schools until going to Boston English High School where he excelled in handball and football.

He later became a shoe buyer for Morse Shoe (the parent company of Fayva and Thom McAnn) and also worked in New York City as buyer of leather goods, which allowed him to travel the world.

He spent his last several years in the family home in East Boston.
