SALVAGGIO, Charles  In East Boston, January 26, 2020.  Beloved husband of the late Sue (Manfredonia) Salvaggio.

Loving father of Joanne Murphy of Melrose and the late Maria Ferrario.  Best "Papa" to Kristen and David Murphy.

Brother of the late Rose Perullo, Philip, Joseph, James, Angelo, and Salvatore Salvaggio.  Also survived by three generations of loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Thursday afternoon, January 30, at 12:30.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting hours Thursday morning commencing at 10:30.

Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Charles was a kind, generous man who was extremely interested in history and politics.  He was also an enthusiastic fan of all the Boston sports teams with a special love for the Red Sox.

He was retired from the New England Confectioners Company (NECCO) after twenty years of service.
