ALICEA, Christina  In East Boston, formerly of Puerto Rico, March 23, 2025.  Beloved mother of Mel Fontanez and his wife Svetlana of North Carolina, Walter Rodriguez and Frankie Fontanez, both of East Boston. 

Loving grandmother of Alexander Sokirkin, Jessica Fontanez, Victor Fontanez and Anthony Fontanez. Great-grandmother of Anastasia Sokirkin and Coast Cheshier.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Friday morning, March 28, 10 - 12.  Prayer Services will be held at 12 PM.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Christina came from Puerto Rico in the mid-1960's and first settled in Connecticut and then Massachusetts where she raised her family. She worked for many years in the healthcare industry until her retirement. She was a devout attendee of Mass at the Most Holy Redeemer Parish.
