MANNING, Cornelius "Neil"  In East Boston, July 29, 2021.  Beloved husband of Etta M. (McArdle). Loving father of Doreen and Charles "Chuck" Manning, both of East Boston

Brother of Laurita Swope of AZ, Patricia Manning of Lady Lake, FL, the late Catherine Bearse, Margaret Kaminski, Mary McIntyre, Helen Chodor, Dennis and John Manning. Also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews.

Brother-in-law of Dottie and Skip Marcella.  Special "Unk" to Joseph and his wife Mary, Matthew and his wife Mariana, Christopher, Emilia and Jameson Marcella.

Funeral from the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Wednesday morning, August 4, at 10. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston at 11 o'clock.  Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday, August 3, 5 - 8 PM.

Committal Services with Military Honors will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden

Neil's family would like to extend special thanks to John Cannon, Amy Parker RN, Jeaneddy Paul and Patrick Pierre-Paul who took such wonderful care of Neil during his illness.

Neil was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He served in the Heavy Motor Co. of the 5th Calvary. He was also a retired employee of the US Postal Service.
