Cynthia Elizabeth Callahan

Our dear sister, Cynthia E. Callahan, of Haverhill, passed away unexpectedly in her home, on July 21, 2023, at the age of 50.  Born on December 7, 1972, she was the beloved daughter of the late Patricia (Garlington) and the late Gerald Callahan of Everett, MA. 

Cindy had a kind and caring heart and wanted the best for everyone.   She lived by these words; Always leave people better than you found them, Hug the hurt, Kiss the broken, Befriend the lost, and, Love the lonely.

Cindy is survived by her sisters and brothers; Deborah Bayers and her husband, Robert, of Windham, NH; Karen Ventola and her husband Peter Ventola, II, of Windham, NH; Gerald Callahan, Jr. of Malden, MA; Patricia Green and her husband, Thomas, of Westford, MA; William Callahan and his wife, Cindy Callahan, of Reading, MA; and, Catherine Callahan of Methuen, MA. 

She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly; Eric, Jenna, Lindsay, Peter, Gerald, Christopher, Alycia, Amy, Thomas (Godson), Sarah, William, Jr., Jill, Jamie and Katelyn. Also a couple of grand-nieces, nephews and many cousins.

At the family’s request, a private memorial service celebrating Cindy will be at a later date.
