BOYAN, Edward J. Jr.  At home in East Boston, September 24, 2022 surrounded by family.  Beloved husband of Mary A. (Genovitch) Boyan.
Loving father of Kelly Schacht and her husband Albert, Edward J. Boyan III and the late Jody Phillips. Grandfather of Stephanie Quinn and Erik Schacht.  Great-grandfather of Alani and Elijah.  Also survived by many cousins and extended family.
Ed was born and raised in East Boston and entered the US Coast Guard in 1964, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a retired electrician and a member of the Jeffries Point Yacht Club.
Visiting will be held in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Wednesday, September 28, 5 - 7 PM. Concluding with a Prayer Service and Military Honors.  Relatives and friends are invited. 

In lieu of flowers donations in Ed's memory to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.

Private committal will be held at the convenience of the family.
