LaMONICA, Elena, (Chiodi), of East Boston, July 20, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Richard LaMonica.

Mother of Rosemarie DeBenedictis and husband Arthur of Melrose, Nancy Polizzi and husband Richard of Stoneham and Joseph LaMonica of East Boston.

Grandmother of Craig Polizzi and wife Eileen, Brandon Polizzi, Alec, Darina and Stephen DeBenedictis. Great Grandmother of Luna Rose Polizzi.

Daughter of the late Antonio and Rose, (Cardinale), Chiodi. Sister of Catherine Spagnola, Salvatore Chiodi and the late Rose Woodside, Larry Chiodi, Pauline-Paolini-Anastasio, Andrew Chiodi, Frances Imbrescia, Antoinette Smith, Anthony Chiodi and Anne Magner. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in The Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Wednesday, July 23, 4:00 to 7:00PM. Funeral Mass in The Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston on Thursday morning , July 24, at 10:00AM.

Burial to follow Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
