Femina "Mina" C. Vega - DeFilippo

VEGA-DeFILIPPO, Femina "Mina"  In East Boston, January 13, 2020. Beloved mother of Maria McCarty, Ronald, Carla and the late Dante DeFilippo.

Cherished grandmother of William and Grady McCarty.  Loving aunt of MaryLou Koschuk and Josephine Trost, whom she raised, and also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

Mina was the last of six siblings.  She was born and raised in New Mexico and came to East Boston in the 1950's. She raised her four children, as well as her her two  nieces, in East Boston. Mina worked at Schrafft's Candy in Charlestown.

Visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Sunday, January 19, 2- 5 PM, concluding with a  Prayer Service in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations in Mina's memory to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
