Frederick John Nolan

NOLAN, Frederick J.  In Revere, formerly of East Boston, October 23, 2023.  Beloved longtime partner of Sonja Olsen of Revere. 

Loving father of Kim Nieves and her husband Carlos  and Mark Nolan and his wife Joanne, all of Middleton. Grandfather of Olivia and Sophia Nieves and Natalie and Ava Nolan.

Fred is also survived by a brother, a sister, several nieces and nephews and many loving friends.

Memorial Visiting will be held in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Thursday, November 2, 4 - 5:30pm concluding with a Prayer Service at 5:30. Relatives and friends are invited.

Fred served in the the US Army during the Vietnam Era and then joined the MDC Police Force, where he served for 13 years before his retirement.  He was the founder of Slush King in East Boston.

Fred enjoyed spending time at his home in Fryeberg, Maine, where he enjoyed the woods and cutting trees and in Key West, where he could enjoy the beach and tropical breezes.

In lieu of flowers donations in Fred's memory to either Windrush Farm Therapeutic Equitation, 479 Lacy St., North Andover, MA 01845 or the American Diabetes Assn. would be appreciated by his family.
