Helen R. (Anzalone) Lazzaro-Lazzara

LAZZARO-LAZZARA, Helen R. (Anzalone) In Revere, formerly of East Boston on October 19, 2019 peacefully in her 102nd year.  Beloved wife of the late Nicholas John Lazzaro-Lazzara. Daughter of the late Louise (Pagliuca) and Felix Anzalone.

Mother of Paul Lazzara and his wife Joyce and Susan Hummel and her late husband Joseph.

Grandmother of Courtney Lazzara and her husband Jeff Mack, Brian Lazzara and his wife Jessica, Joseph Hummel and his wife, Melissa Hummel and her husband.

Sister of the late Annette Moloney, Joseph Anzalone, Gilda "Millie" Coughlin and her twin brother John Anzalone.

Helen is also survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Tuesday morning, October 22, at 11.

Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting prior to Mass 9 -11 AM.

Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.

Helen was a longtime resident of East Boston, where she raised her family, before moving to Prospect House in Revere seven years ago.  She enjoyed swimming, dancing and spending time with family. At the age of 80 she learned how to use a computer and she loved to send and receive emails.

Helen's family would like to thank both Prospect House and AllCare Hospice for their care and attention.
