James J. Lawrence

LAWRENCE, James J.  In East Boston on July 19, 2025.  Beloved son of the late Margaret (Thaler) and Ernest Lawrence.  Brother of Barbara Giambrone of NH and the late John J. (his twin), Arthur, Ernest F., Joseph X. and Blanche Lawrence, Edith Marino, Helen Bouzan, and Margaret Knapp.

Uncle of John Lawrence, James and Christine Lawrence, Peter and Kerry Lawrence, Kathleen and Anthony Herrera, Marie Lawrence and Tom Henderson.  Also survived by three generations of other nieces and nephews.

Jim was born and raised in East Boston and attended local schools.  He was an impressive basketball player for East Boston High School.  He is a retired Deputy Sheriff for Suffolk County and a life member of the East Boston Yacht Club.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the Kaplan Family Hospice would be appreciated.

Committal Services will be private.
