Jim was a member of the Fitton Council 84 of the Knights of Columbus, Grand Knight 4th Degree of the Bishop Chevrus Assembly.
Jim , also known as "Jim the bus driver" to everyone at the East Boston Social Center, was also former president of IBEW Local 294 at Avis Car Rental. He proudly served in the Merchant Marine and on Boston Tow Boats. Former owner of "Poor Man's Bookkeeping" and was a dedicated volunteer at Horizons House in Wakefield for 15 years. He was a graduate of East Boston High School, Class of 1963.
