James Austin Powers

POWERS, James Austin -  In North Andover, formerly of East Boston and Misssion Hill on March 14, 2023.  Beloved father of Matthew Powers of New Hampshire.
Longtime companion of the late Barbara (Coluntino) Martello.
Brother of Paula and her husband Ken Espe of North Carolina and Rosemary Prescott of New Hampshire
Step-father of Lisa Anzalone and her husband Gene of Middleton and the late Ralph Martello.
Grandfather of Matthew Powers, Brianna and Julia Anzalone and Ava Martello.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, March 20, at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury at 11 AM.
Jim was born in Boston and raised in Mission Hill, Roxbury before moving to East Boston.  He was employed for many years at Massport and after retirement he worked for Capital Waste. He was an avid Red Sox fan and in his free time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
