John Anthony Pothitakis

POTHITAKIS, John Anthony  Of Andover, formerly of East Boston, suddenly, February 14, 2019.  Beloved husband of  Melanie N. (Gallagher) Pothitakis.

Loving son of Sandra A. (Melito) Mahoney of Revere and the late Robert P. "Mike" Mahoney. Cherished father of Raina Leigh and James John Pothitakis.

Dear brother of Joanne Stewart of Londonderry, NH, Renate Beck of Everett, Elena Black of East Boston and Thomas Pothitakis of Revere.

Also survived by his longtime friend and mentor Frank Selldorff and his uncles: Frank, Richard, Angelo and Ralph Melito.

John was uncle to Kristina, Le-Andra, Nicole, Gianna, AJ, Mason, Jaydon, Ava and Leylanie.

Funeral Mass in the Most Holy Redeemer Church, 72 Maverick St., East Boston Tuesday morning, February 19, at 10 o'clock.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Monday, February 18, 4 - 8 PM.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations in John's memory to the Big Brother, Big Sister Foundation would be appreciated.
