PINTO, Josephine (Millan)  In East Boston, formerly of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, September 23, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Anthony Pinto.

Mother of Toni D'India and her husband John of Clinton, MA, Angela Kuba of Akron, Ohio and the late Dennis Pinto.

Grandmother of Charlotte Maguire of Orange, Australia, Bobbi Kuba of Akron, OH, Jennifer Dakai and her husband Paul of Clinton, MA, Carmell Giacobbe and her husband Michael of Saugus, Samantha D'India and her partner Kevin of NH and Dennis Pinto II. of Revere.

Great-grandmother of Joel Maguire and Trent Maguire and partner Danielle, all of Orange, Australia, Christine Ford and Dillon of NH, Avalynn Giacobbe and Brayden Giacobbe, both of Saugus and Jocelyn Davis of Akron, OH. Also survived by great-great- grandchild River Maguire.

Josephine was the last of 13 siblings.

Josie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; being with her family and friends she called family, shopping (she loved a good pajama set), singing and as an immensely talented crocheter, she would crochet gifts for everyone she knew. This is how she showed her love. She was a friend to everyone she met and made you feel special. She was everyone’s “Nana”. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

Visiting in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Friday, September 27, 10 AM - 12 PM. Prayer Service will be held at 11:45 AM. Family, friends and others whose lives were touched by Josie are welcome to attend.

Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Josie as she loved everything and everyone equally.
