Josephine M. (Melendrez) Trost

TROST, Josephine Melendrez  Of East Boston on March 4, 2022.  Beloved mother of Jonathan and his wife Heather of Florida and Jeremiah of Methuen. Grandmother of Jaeden, Logan, Julianna and Jelina.

Sister of MaryLou Koschuk of Bedford.  Cousin of Maria McCarty, Carla, Ronnie and the late Dante DeFilippo, with whom she was raised.

Also survived by her niece Andrea Koschuk and her children; Aiden and Nathan.

Visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St.[at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on THURSDAY, MARCH 10, 1 - 4 PM.  Prayer Service at 1:30.  Relatives and friends invited.

Josephine was a very energetic mother and involved her sons in many athletic activities as she had in her own youth.  She was well known for love of dance of almost any type, especially swing dancing and line dancing. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and cared for patients for many years during her career in healthcare.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research would be greatly appreciated.
