Julio Ceno

CENO, Julio  In Winthrop, formerly of Brooklyn, NY and Puerto Rico on July 25, 2020.  Beloved father of Celedonia "Jackie" Cortes and Felipe Ceno, both of Winthrop, Raul Ceno of Florida and Julio Ceno Jr of Louisiana.

Also survived by twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Thursday, July 30, 6-9 PM.  Relatives and friends invited.  COVID-19 protocols will be in effect limiting the amount of persons in the facility. Masks or face coverings are required. Kindly pay your respects to the family and exit to allow for others to enter.

Funeral Services for the family will be on Friday, July 31.  Interment to follow in Belle Isle Cemetery, Winthrop.

Julio was born in Puerto Rico in 1926 and came to New York as a young man, where he met and married Betty Ruiz and they raised their family of four children.  He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and enjoyed music. He has been living in Winthrop with his daughter Jackie and son Felipe for approximately the last ten years.
