HANLON, Kathleen E. (Emmett)  In East Boston, October 6, 2022.  Beloved wife of Edward Hanlon. Loving mother of Mark Smith and his wife Tammy of California.

Grandmother of Kaitlyn A. and Marcus A. Smith.

Sister of Francis D. Emmett of East Boston, Teresa LaPointe and Patty Bouvier, both of Maine and the late Sharon Millerick, Judith Masterson, Robert Emmett and Michelle "Sugie' Emmett.  Kathy is also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Monday, October 10, 3- 5  PM.  Prayer Services will be conducted at 4:30.  Relatives and friends invited.

Kathy was born in Revere and raised in the Jeffries Point section of East Boston.  She attended East Boston schools. She worked for many years as a caregiver in the health care industry.  She was well known for her love of any kind of animal. With that in mind, her family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations in her memory be made to MSPCA-Angell Memorial.
