Laura (Recupero) Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Laura (Recupero)  In East Boston, January 16, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Kenneth W. Mansfield.

Loving mother of Linda Hutfless and her late husband Mark of Texas, James Skarda and his wife Maria of Texas, George Skarda of East Boston and the late infant Robert Skarda.

Sister of Josephine Henry and her husband Bob of Carver and the late Paul Recupero and his surviving wife Jean, Robert Recupero and his surviving wife Carole, Richard Recupeo and his surviving wife Frances, Frank, Joseph and Agrippino "Chickie" Recupero.

Laura is also survived by seven grandchildren: Mark R. Hutfless II, Rachel Hutfless Thornburg, Elizabeth Hutfless, James Skarda, Anthony Skarda, Brian Skarda and Jason Skarda, nine great-grandchildren: Matthew, Justin and Cameron Sandidge, Giorgio Magliachetti, Mark R. Hutfless III, Kayde Howard, Susie, Evelyn and Chastity Skarda, four great-great-grandchildren: Kristy, Kaylan, Mark IV and Nolan many nieces and nephews.

Visiting in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Monday, January 23, 10 - 11:30 AM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 11:30.  Relatives and friends invited.

Interment will take place in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Monday, January 23 at 1:45 PM

Laura was an active volunteer for the East Boston Social Center for many years.  She enjoyed Bingo, knitting and crocheting.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to either the Kidney Foundation or the East Boston Social Center will be appreciated.
