BETANCUR, Luis Alfonso de Everett y originario de Donmatías, Colombia, murió el
13 de febrero de 2023. Amado esposo de Regina Betancur y amoroso padre de Daniel Stiven Betancur.

Luis era hijo de Alfonso Betancur y Anadelia Gallego de Betancur. También era hermano de Carlos, Francisco, Ema, Belarmina, Rita, Anadelia y la fallecidos María Noemí, David, Jesús María, Libardo y Luz Elena Betancur. Le sobreviven muchas sobrinas y sobrinos.

La Misa Conmemorativa se celebrará en la Madonna Queen of the Universe Shrine, 150 Orient Ave, East Boston martes, febrero 28, at 11 AM.  Sus cenizas serán sepultadas en los nichos de la capilladel cementerio de Woodlawn.

Luis era un hombre muy dedicado a su familia, con una actitud positiva, un excelente esposo y padre, que disfrutaba compartir bromas con amigos y familiares. Se destacó por ser sincero, leal, espiritual y cariñoso. Le encantaba salir a caminar, escuchar música, pasar tiempo con familiares y amigos ya sea en persona o por teléfono y jugar con los niños.

BETANCUR, Luis Alfonso  Of Everett, formerly of Donmatias, Colombia on February 13, 2023.  Beloved husband of Regina Betancur. Loving father of Daniel Stiven Betancur.

Luis was the son of Alfonso Betancur and Anadelia Gallego de Betancur. He was also the brother of Carlos, Francisco, Ema, Belarmina, Rita, Anadelia and the late Maria Noemi, David, Jesus Maria, Libardo and Luz Elena Betancur and is also survived by many neices and nephews.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated in the Madonna, Queen of the Universe Shrine, 150 Orient Ave, East Boston on Tuesday, February 28, at 11 AM.  His ashes will be entombed in the Niches in Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel.

Luis was a devoted family man,with a positive attitude, an excellent husband and father, who enjoyed sharing jokes with friends and family.  He was sincere, loyal, spiritual and affectionate.  He loved taking walks, listening to music, spending time with family members and friends either in person or by telephone and playing with the children.
