CHILANTE , Maria (Rancitelli) Formerly of East Boston, September 8, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Vincenzo Chilante. Loving mother of Franco Chilante and his wife Darlene of Peabody and the late Matilde Badolato.
Grandmother of Michael Badolato Jr. of Arizona, Franco Paul Chilante and Danielle Stone, both of Peabody. Great-grandmother of Gianna Marie Chilante.
Sister of Rossana Iafrate of Abruzzo, Italy and the late Benito Rancitelli. Special aunt of John DeNapoli of Revere and several other nieces and nephews in the United States and Italy.
Funeral Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere on Monday, Sept. 14, at 10:45 AM. Visiting with the family in church commencing at 10 o'clock. *Contact tracing is required and all COVID -19 protocols will be followed. Social distancing and face covering will be required.* Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Maria came to the United States in 1966 with their young children to join her husband. She worked for several years at Converse Rubber and Cold Water Fish Co. and enjoyed playing Bingo and cards in her retirement.
