Paul J. "Popsie" Recupero III

RECUPERO, Paul J III  "Popsie" "Poppy" In Woburn, formerly of East Boston, April 15, 2023.  Beloved father of Erin Arsenault and her husband William of Dracut and Paul J. Recupero IV and his fiancee Jessica Smith of North Attleboro.

Son of Jean (St.Croix) and the late Paul Recupero Jr.

Brother of John A. Recupero and his wife Denise of Hampton, NH, Nicholas H. Recupero and his wife Kathy of Pepperell, Jean Matthews and her husband Michael of Peabody and Michael W. Recupero and his wife Kim of Revere.

Paul is survived by his grandchildren: Collin and Brendan Arsenault, Tiffany and Aidan Recupero as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and his aunt Josephine Henry.

Graveside Services will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody on Friday morning, April 21, at 10:30. Relatives and friends are invited. Please meet at the cemetery.

Paul was born and raised in East Boston and attended East Boston High School.  He furthered his education at Bunker Hill Community College, Lasalle College and Newbury College completing with a Masters Degree.  He went on to become a Certified Public Accountant.  He also taught at his alma mater Newbury College and as well as Boston College.

Paul was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.  He recently became a member of Woburn Country Club. He was also an active member of the Boston Church of Christ in Arlington.

In lieu of flowers donations in Paul's memory to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
