Robert J. Ballam

BALLAM, Robert J.  In East Boston, unexpectedly on August 21, 2025.  Beloved son of the late Barbara A. (Parker) and Bernard F. Ballam.

Loving brother of Jeanne Piccirillo and her husband Lou of New Jersey, Beverly Fulton and her husband James of New Hampshire and Kate Elkind and her husband Ted of Florida.

Uncle of Mark Piccirillo and his wife Jodi, Ryan Fulton and his wife Diana Perez, Bethany Fulton, Timothy Fulton, Shana Elkind, Michael Elkind and his wife Liz and the late Michael Piccirillo. Bob is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Thursday, August 28, 12PM - 3 PM.

Bob was a senior systems analyst for Cambridge Health Care. He was an adventurous world traveller, who loved the ocean and making people laugh.

Bob played guitar and sang lead vocals with the band ZuZu's Petals, who won Boston's Battle of the Bands several times in the 1980's.  He was also a songwriter and played the ukelele.

In lieu of flowers donation in Bob's memory to the American Heart Association would be greatly appreciated.
