DeFREITAS, Robert J   In East Boston , suddenly, October 23, 2021.  Beloved father of Tayla DeFreitas of East Boston and Hannah DeFreitas of Malden. Son of the late Patricia M. (Masello) Curtis and Joseph F. DeFreitas.

Brother of Donna Carmen and her husband Jesse, and Susan Henry, all of East Boston, Cheryl Nolette and her husband Thomas of NH, Denise Matarazzo and her husband Emilio, Jody and Frances DeFreitas, all of Revere and the late Sheryl Barry-DeFreitas.

Uncle of Alicia, Katelyn, Steven, Jason, Thais, Angela, Erin and the late Michael.

Visiting in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Thursday morning, October 28, 9 - 10:30. Relatives and friends invited. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston at 11 o'clock.  Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Bobby was an enthusiastic fan of all Boston Sports teams with a special love of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
