JELTSCH, Robert A.  In East Boston, August 21, 2022. Beloved husband of Luz Mariela Gallego-Jeltsch for 23 years. Son of the late Arnold and Charlotte Jeltsch.

Father of James Ocampo of East Boston and Angelo Ocampo of Davie, FL.  Grandpa of Dania Largo, Salome, Stefano, Samuel and David Ocampo.

Brother of Richard Jeltsch and his wife Marsha of Spokane, WA and Nan Yamada and her husband Kyohei of Japan. Former brother-in-law of Karen Jeltsch. Uncle of Thomas Jeltsch and his wife Alexandra and Susie Jeltsch.

Visiting with the family in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. EAST BOSTON on Monday, August 29, 6 - 8 PM. Relatives and friends invited.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston on Tuesday morning, August 30, at 11 o'clock.  Entombment of ashes in Woodlawn Chapel Niches.

Bob was born in Pittsburgh, PA and spent his early youth there before the family began traveling throughout the United States for his father's work as a chemical engineer. They also traveled internationally frequently for pleasure.

He received his Bachelor's Degree in journalism from Marietta College in Ohio. Bob has taught for many years at the Suffolk County Corrections Department, South Bay.

Bob enjoyed reading, all Boston sports teams, especially the Red Sox and loved to play his bango.
