Brother of Richard Jeltsch and his wife Marsha of Spokane, WA and Nan Yamada and her husband Kyohei of Japan. Former brother-in-law of Karen Jeltsch. Uncle of Thomas Jeltsch and his wife Alexandra and Susie Jeltsch.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston on Tuesday morning, August 30, at 11 o'clock. Entombment of ashes in Woodlawn Chapel Niches.
Bob was born in Pittsburgh, PA and spent his early youth there before the family began traveling throughout the United States for his father's work as a chemical engineer. They also traveled internationally frequently for pleasure.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in journalism from Marietta College in Ohio. Bob has taught for many years at the Suffolk County Corrections Department, South Bay.
Bob enjoyed reading, all Boston sports teams, especially the Red Sox and loved to play his bango.
