HICKS, Sharlene M. (McIntosh) In East Boston, unexpectedly at home on July 19, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Hicks Sr.
Loving mother of Jack and his wife Carrie Clarke Hicks of Danvers, Kelly Hicks and her partner Jonathan Tanner of Lynn, Scott Hicks and his fiancee Sheri of Peabody and the late Lil Bob and Michael Hicks.
Grandmother of Paulette, Scott Jr., Shanell, Samantha, Nicolas, Mikey and Jacob Hicks. Great-grandmother of Haylie. Foster mother of Lia and many other children that she fostered over the last 12 years.
Visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Monday, July 24, 4 - 8 PM. Relatives and friends invited.
Funeral Mass in St. Joseph-St. Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley St., East Boston Tuesday morning, July 25, at 11 o'clock. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH.
Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett
Sharlene was the Medical Records Supervisor at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center for 25 years and then became a Family Partner at North Suffolk Mental Health Program.
Sharlene really enjoyed shopping of many kinds. She loved yard sales, flea markets and malls.
