Virgilio Guevara Ramos

GUEVARA RAMOS, Virgilio  In East Boston, formerly of Citala, Chalatenango, El Salvador on September 22, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Reina Guevara Santos.

Father of Reinaldo Villanueva, Maria Cartagena Guevara, Jesus Guevara, Martha Guevara, Antonina Cotzojay, Dionisio Guevara, Tomas Guevara, Francisco Guevara and Claudia Guevara.

Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in El Salvador.

Funeral Mass in the Most Holy Redeemer Church, 72 Maverick St., East Boston on Saturday, September 26, at 4 PM.  Visiting in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St.[at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON following the Mass from 6 - 9 PM. 

** PLEASE NOTE: All COVID-19 protocols will be force.  Masks must be worn at all times in the church and the funeral home and social distancing is necessary**

Virgilio was a farmer for most of his life in El Salvador until he came to the United States approximately 12 years ago.

Interment will take place in Citala, Chalatenango, El Salvador in October.
