ARMSTRONG, William R. In Saugus, formerly of Revere and East Boston, May 6, 2023. Life partner of Ann Tobin of Saugus. Loving father of Denise Armstrong of Revere, Nancy Turco of Malden, formerly of Revere and the late William P. Armstrong.
Devoted grandfather of Michael Catino of Revere, Massino Turco and his wife Makenzie of Lynn, Patricia Ferguson and her husband Matthew of Missouri and the late Crystal Catino. Great-grandfather of William, Patrick, Benjamin, Juliette and Michael Jr.
Brother of John of Florida, Theresa Morrissey and her husband Marty of Maine, Mable Arsenault of East Boston and the late Mary Armstrong, Frances Somers, Winifred McCarthy, Gladys Grato, Jeanette Haddock, Patricia Buonapane, Margaret Rooney and Rita Armstrong. Also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON on Tuesday, May 9, 4 - 8 PM. Prayer Services at 7:45. Relatives and friends invited.
Bill was a retired longtime employee of the City of Boston. He was an avid outdorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and paddling a canoe. As well as quiet time reading a good book.
In lieu of flowers donations in Bill's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
