William W. Murphy

MURPHY, William W. "Bill"  In Everett, formerly of East Boston on June 27, 2024 after a long illness.  Beloved son of the late Mary L. (Sullivan) and Warren Murphy.  Longtime companion of Judy Garbati of Everett.  Also survived by many cousins.

Bill was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Mass. Department of Transportation.  He was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and enjoyed repairing old cars.

Bill's family would like to thank the staff of Care One in Wilmington and Ascend Hospice for their care.

Donations in Bill's memory to the Alzheimer's Assn would be appreciated.

Committal Services in Holy Cross Cemetery will be held on Friday, July 19, at 11:30 AM.
