Her son,
A Celebration of the life of
Ruby Flint
One author said that “The wealthiest place in the neighborhood is down the street.” He was talking about the graveyard. The point is that so many people live and die without ever fulfilling their God ordained purpose. While we are all imperfect in ourselves, those who really knew Ruby will agree that she certainly accomplished many of the things God had intended for her as it relates to kindness, genuine concern, unbiased acceptance of others, and how she gave and gave and gave and gave and gave to those in need. When you learn to enjoy life give on the magnitude to which she lived and gave it makes a thinking person realize that God is real.

SHE PRAYED FOR PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD
This service is being held at the McGrath Funeral Home but there is a bigger service underway in heaven right now because one of God’s children has gone home to be with the Lord.
Ruby was born in Simpsonville SC where she lived as an only child of her mother Hattie Wright until moving to Asheville NC to live with her aunt (her mother left this world at the age of only 47). While in Asheville she attended and graduated from Stephens Lee High School. She also sang while attending school. She met and married Grady Flint (at the time of his passing in 1978 they had been married for 29 years) and had six children. While holding a number of jobs in her lifetime, including working while in Asheville, the job she held the longest was at Marriot In-Flite Service/Caterair, where she was employed for 26 years at their East Boston, MA location.
While there are so many wonderful memories of times experienced with her the thing that is most exciting, for those who have truly accepted God into our lives, is to know that she accepted Jesus Christ into her heart which means that she has a secure place in heaven with God for eternity and that those who choose to accept Him (Christ) into their hearts will most certainly see her again. In other words each person has to make a sincere decision to accept Christ into their hearts rather than simply to give him mental assent.
The Real Jesus: “When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 16:13-17 New International Version). Jesus also said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” 9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:6-9).

Dear God, please let everyone who reads this document come to know that they are loved with an everlasting love. I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
God Himself, who made you, loves you more than you are humanly capable of understanding.
If you desire to know Jesus (God) personally and secure your place in heaven please repeat the following prayer with your focus on Jesus for you are talking directly to Him.
Say, LORD JESUS I COME TO YOU AS A SINNER ASKING FOR SALVATION, ETERNAL LIFE. PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR ALL OF MY SINS. I TURN AWAY FROM A LIFE OF SIN AND I ASK YOU TO COME INTO MY HEART AND LIVE. I RECEIVE YOU AS MY PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR. PLEASE FILL ME WITH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT. THANK YOU THAT I AM NOW SAVED AND FILLED WITH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT., IN THE HOLY, AWESOME, MATCHLESS NAME OF JESUS, AMEN!
If you prayed that prayer in faith believing, you are truly God’s child now and assured a place in heaven. In the meantime it is so important that you get yourself a good Bible and join a true Church where God’s Word is being taught and preached so you can grow in your relationship with Him. You can search this website for Godly churches in your neighborhood by putting in your zip code (Courtesy of CBN).
Also, check your cable provider for 24 hour Christian television. While the whole Bible is the Word of God for starters you can begin your journey by reading the Gospel of John, the Book of Romans, and 1 (First) John.
I love you, Jesus loves you, and God has awesome plans for you
