CANTALUPO, John D. Sr.  In Revere, formerly of East Boston, suddenly, October 14, 2016.  Beloved husband of 45 years of G. Bernadette (DeLuca).

Loving father of John D. Cantalupo Jr. and his wife Laurie of Boxford and Jessica Cantalupo of Revere.  Devoted grandfather of Nicholas, Nathaniel and Alexander.

Dear brother-in-law of Joseph "Sonny" Palmieri, Roseann Palermo, Anthony DeLuca and the late Joseph Palermo and Marie Palmieri.

Cherished uncle of his godson, Rev. Louis Palmieri, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church collabrative, Quincy,  Maria and Ralph Moore, Lisa and Don Heres, Roxannne and Richard Capezzuto.

Funeral from the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] EAST BOSTON Wednesday morning, October 19, at 9:15.  Funeral Mass, celebrated by Fr. Louis Palmieri, in the Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St., Revere at 10:30.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting hours Tuesday, October 18, 4- 8 PM.

Interment with Military Honors in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

John served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was also a member of Teamsters Local 25.  After his retirement he devoted his time to the Revere Public Schools Special Education Program, as well as trips to Foxwoods and shopping.
